Your dietitian has your best interest at heart when developing your clinical nutrition plan. They consider your food preferences, lifestyle, chronic disease risk factors, and general health and wellness.
What should I expect during my appointment?
During your first clinical nutrition visit, a dietitian discusses your medical history, nutrition history, lifestyle, and health goals. They then evaluate your metabolism, body composition (muscle-to-fat ratio), body mass index (BMI), and more.
Your specialist reviews the everyday foods you eat and when you eat them. They’ll also review labs to check for hormone imbalances and nutrient deficiencies.
Your clinical nutrition specialist develops a personalized nutrition plan consisting of custom menus, sleep and stress management methods, dietary supplements if appropriate, and exercise recommendations.
It is recommended that you complete the following services before your first nutrition appointment (MRT, body comp, and complimentary fitness session)
