Yang Liu, MDN, RDN, CDCES is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) who works with clients of all health backgrounds using an evidence-based, results-driven, and nutrition-first approach. They earned their Master of Dietetics and Nutrition (MDN) from The Ohio State University, where they contributed research on a systematic review of local food systems approaches to address food and nutrition security (DOI: 10.1016/j.advnut.2023.100156).
Yang’s approach focuses on building small, sustainable lifestyle changes that stack up to significant health improvements over time. Food is more than just nutrients, and Yang orks with clients to preserve the cultural and social importance of meals. Yang’s holistic approach also emphasizes participating in joyful movement, prioritizing restful sleep, and balancing stressors in work and life.
Outside of their career, Yang enjoys aligning their actions with their recommendations by walking New York City’s beautiful parks and streets after eating at local restaurants; doing sudoku puzzles and playing board games; and volunteering their art skills in local organizations.
